Falta pouco para a grande estreia do Fluminense na Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa. Na próxima terça-feira (17), o Tricolor carioca vai ter pela frente o Borussia Dortmund, da Alemanha. Já em solo norte-americano, a equipe vai seguindo a programação de treinos sob o comando do técnico Renato Gaúcho.
Nesta quarta-feira (11), o Flu fez um jogo-treino contra o Charleston Battery, equipe da segunda divisão norte-americana. A atividade terminou em goleada pelo placar de 6 a 2 favorável aos brasileiros. Os gols foram marcados por Germán Cano (duas vezes), Nonato, Ignácio, Thiago Santos e Renê. Após a partida, o técnico Renato Gaúcho falou sobre a partida.
“Apesar do calor, treinamos no horário em que vamos jogar. Não estava preocupado com o placar e sim, em dar ritmo de jogo ao grupo para fazermos uma boa estreia. O calor dificulta bastante, mas fazer o quê? Vamos ter que jogar ao meio-dia. Agora temos mais quatro dias para preparar a equipe para a estreia”, avaliou.
Quando é a estreia do Fluminense na Copa do Mundo de Clubes?
Na terça-feira (17), o Tricolor carioca vai ter pela frente o Borussia Dortmund, da Alemanha. Na segunda rodada, a equipe vai jogar contra o Ulsan HD, da Coreia do Sul. Encerrando a participação na primeira fase, o Fluminense jogará contra o Mamelodi Sundowns, equipe da África do Sul.
A Fifa divulgou a lista de inscritos das 32 equipes que farão parte da Copa do Mundo de Clubes. Entre os jogadores que vão representar o Fluminense, a grande novidade fica pelo registro de Soteldo, contratação mais recente feita pelo Tricolor após acordo com o Santos. Ele usará a camisa número 7, que estava sendo ocupada por Renato Augusto.
