Rogério Ceni, do Bahia, ressalta favoritismo de Flamengo, Palmeiras e Cruzeiro no Brasileirão: “Fazendo uma boa campanha”

Rogério Ceni, após o grande triunfo do Bahia sobre o Red Bull Bragantino, reforçou o discurso atrelado ao título do Brasileirão. Assim como o Flamengo, mantido na liderança com os tropeços dos rivais, Palmeiras e Cruzeiro são vistos como os concorrentes mais fortes do campeonato. Levando em conta a proximidade do topo da tabela, o treinador enalteceu o desempenho da equipe nas 12 rodadas disputadas.

Somando 21 pontos, o Bahia se encontra em quinto lugar na classificação do Campeonato Brasileiro. Além do prognóstico inicial, Rogério Ceni está ciente que, assim como o Bahia, os demais concorrentes ao título podem subir de produção com eventuais reforços, motivo pelo qual o mercado da bola será um assunto tratado durante o período de pausa do Mundial.

“O que pode mudar é a janela de contratações, aí sai do que a gente viu até agora. Para nós também, só não podemos inscrever jogadores para a Copa do Nordeste. O que pode mudar drasticamente é algum clube fazer algum investimento fora do comum. Nós vamos analisar o mercado de acordo com o que a gente precisa e tem a condição de fazer. A maior alteração, maior surpresa é do que a gente não viu ainda, janela de contratações. Mas já sabemos os favoritos, os que estão na frente, Flamengo, Palmeiras, Cruzeiro fazendo boa campanha. Hoje, ficamos felizes de estar no pelotão de frente.”, disse Ceni, em coletiva de imprensa.

Competência do Bahia

Fora de casa, o Bahia não deu chances para o Red Bull Bragantino. Reconhecendo que a expulsão no Massa Bruta contribuiu para o desfecho da partida, Rogério Ceni avalia que, assumindo o controle total do jogo, o Tricolor de Aço teve competência para neutralizar o esforço redobrado do adversário.

“Vantagem numérica é fundamental, Bragantino correu enquanto teve força, mas tivemos calma, tranquilidade e tomamos conta do jogo. Posse, controle e, quando sai o terceiro gol, mata o jogo. Foi um bom jogo nosso, a gente não tinha vencido o Red Bull Bragantino aqui, resultado inédito na história. Red Bull tentou pressionar, mas a gente se organizou bem, se organizou melhor no segundo tempo ainda. Infiltração, gol de Juba, o outro contra.”, analisou.

Ceni sinaliza alvo no segundo semestre

Na sequência da temporada, o troféu da Sul-Americana está nos planos do Bahia. Fora da Libertadores, mesmo com bons momentos vividos na fase de grupos, o time de Rogério Ceni se converteu em uma das principais forças no torneio secundário da Conmebol, que deve receber prioridade junto com o Brasileirão e a Copa do Brasil.
