Der FC Liverpool ist laut der spanischen Zeitung SPORT bereit, mit dem FC Barcelona über einen Transfer des kolumbianischen Flügelflitzers zu verhandeln. Trainer Arne Slot (46) plant den Offensivspieler offenbar nicht mehr fest für die Startelf ein – vor allem nach den bevorstehenden Mega-Transfers von Florian Wirtz (22). In Slots neuem System ist für Díaz offenbar kein Platz mehr – ein klares Signal für alle Beteiligten.
[–>Luis Díaz ahnte wahrscheinlich bereits, dass diese Saison seine letzter an der Anfield Road sein könnte. Ein Angebot zur Vertragsverlängerung hat er nicht erhalten – obwohl sein Vertrag noch bis 2027 läuft. Der Klub will lieber jetzt Kasse machen – und Díaz will nur zum FC Barcelona! Den Katalanen hat er diesen Wunsch bereits mehrfach klar gemacht. Andere Optionen kommen für ihn nicht infrage.
Barça wiederum hat Díaz ganz oben auf der Wunschliste. Sportdirektor Deco ist ein großer Fan des 28-Jährigen, wollte ihn bereits vergangenen Sommer holen – damals platzte der Deal an Liverpools hoher Ablöseforderung. Nun gibt es grünes Licht: Auch Neu-Coach Hansi Flick hat seinen Segen für den Transfer gegeben. Díaz gilt intern als strategisch wichtiger Baustein für den Neuaufbau des Teams.
Besonders Bristant: Scheinbar gibt es zwischen Barça und Díaz gibt es bereits eine Einigung. Damit wären andere Interessenten aus dem Rennen – auch lukrative Angebote aus Saudi-Arabien hat der Flügelspieler bewusst abgelehnt.
Liverpool fordert derzeit rund 80 Millionen Euro. Doch intern soll Díaz die Zusage haben, bei einem Angebot von etwas über 60 Millionen gehen zu dürfen. Ein Zeichen: Er folgt dem FC Barcelona inzwischen auf Instagram – ein subtiler Fingerzeig in Richtung Anfield und ein öffentliches Bekenntnis zum Traumklub.
