It’s been two weeks since Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld officially tied the knot in a quiet, star-studded ceremony in Santa Barbara, California.
But while the wedding itself was a closely guarded affair, the actress is now pulling back the curtain on some of its most heartfelt and stylish moments.
She denied it! Hailee Steinfeld rants about her cooking skills and settles the record straight
In the latest edition of her newsletter BEAU SOCIETY, Steinfeld offered fans a behind-the-scenes look at her wedding week.
One of the most intimate memories came not from the main event, but from a quiet dinner held two nights prior, shared only with immediate family members-including, she noted, “our nanas.”
“The night before the night before our wedding, we had dinner with just our immediate families (+ our nanas, of course). It was just the fourteen of us; a calm before the festivities,” Steinfeld wrote.
During that gathering, her brother Griffin asked a touching question that brought laughter and tears: “When did you know Hailee and Josh were meant to be together?”
As each family member responded, the room filled with warmth and emotion, according to Steinfeld.
A bold dress code and a ‘vibrant elegance’ welcome
While Steinfeld waited until Friday to share details of the wedding ceremony itself, she had previously released the first official wedding photo and a look at the couple’s rings through her newsletter.
She also revealed that she and Allen hosted a special welcome party for friends arriving in Santa Barbara, complete with a themed dress code.
“Our friends arrived the next day for our welcome party,” she wrote. “The dress code was ‘vibrant elegance.’ It felt like a garden party, so fun and an entirely different vibe than our wedding day, which was an ‘all-black black tie’ and felt very classic and bold.”
That strict style rule helped set the tone for a wedding that reflected both their personalities – polished yet intimate, modern but timeless. By alternating between lighthearted welcome festivities and a more formal ceremony, the couple crafted a weekend to remember for all their guests.
Now that the celebration has ended, Allen is turning his attention back to the field as he prepares for the 2025 NFL season.
But for Steinfeld, the memories are still fresh – and fans can expect more glimpses into the couple’s new chapter in future newsletters.
