The Grammy-winning singer and her 35-year-old boyfriend surprised fans with their appearance at Game 4 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Finals between the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers.
While fans were initially thrilled to see the couple enjoying the game together, they cottoned onto the fact that Kelce‘s inner thighs were visibly exposed due to the short length of his pants.
The positioning of his legs raised questions, with many speculating whether he was wearing appropriate undergarments or if he had gone commando to the NHL game as fans reacted online.

However, it was the comparison to Friends character Gunther that particularly caught the internet’s attention.
One fan referenced the scene where Gunther tells Phoebe’s boyfriend to adjust his posture due to the visibility of his shorts, writing: “Taylor ask your man to close his legs or I’ll send Gunther to discipline him.”
In the iconic sitcom, Gunther warns, “Hey buddy, this is a family place. Put the mouse back in the house,” and the nod to the classic TV moment only fueled the viral spread of the photo.
Despite the focus shifting to Kelce’s shorts, many fans also took the opportunity to compliment Taylor’s appearance, which consisted of a grey dress, braided ponytail, and matching boots.
“I really like her outfit,” one fan added online, reacting to Swift‘s look. “The ponytail braid, the red lip, complements her zipped dress (?) and the boots is the perfect finishing touch.
“The necklace and earrings are such a nice understated touch. Anyway they both look so happy and in love – like love should look like!”
Kelce, meanwhile, arrived at the venue in a red jacket, matching red shorts, and a white cap as he rocked a casual look to the Amerant Bank Arena in Florida.

Neither Kelce nor Swift have addressed the viral image, but their public appearances continue to suggest a serious and stable relationship, leading to questions of when they might get engaged.
According to The Daily Mail, a source close to the couple noted that both stars are treating the relationship as “the one,” with major life events such as engagement and family on the horizon.
“Everyone is just waiting for Travis to ask her parents for her hand in marriage,” an insider told thedailymail,com. “Her parents will say ‘yes,’ and they can’t wait for them to get engaged.
“Nothing seems to be imminent, but it will 100 percent happen.”
