The 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup is underway with defending champions Mexico taking on the Dominican Republic in the opening match at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Mexico comes into the tournament in good form, winning three of its last four matches, including the Concacaf Nations League final against Panama in March. The Dominican Republic is on a hot streak of its own, scoring five goals in its last match against Dominica.

Lewis Hamilton has revealed he hit a groundhog during the Canadian Grand Prix which affected his performance.Hamilton finished a lonely sixth but suffered damage from Lap 9 of the 70-lap race when he hit the animal, which are a regular feature when F1 visits the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
