When she arrived at the Cheetah Rescue and Conservation Centre in Somaliland, they named her “Taylor Swift“, after the multi-award winning singer. The little calf weighed only one and a half kilograms when she arrived, but with constant care and evaluation, she adapted perfectly to her new home. And now she has a special companion.
Recently, four cheetah cubs arrived at the Rescue and Conservation Center, all five-month-old siblings. And of course they met the celebrity of the place.
It’s a ‘Love Story’
However, one of the four little ones formed a strong bond with Taylor, and this did not go unnoticed by the people who work there. It is in honor of this bond that they named the puppy “Travis Kelce“.
In addition, the little pup seems to be the animal version of the Kansas City Chiefs TE: according to a statement from the center’s staff, the little cheetah is “playful, confident, and has a winning streak,” like his namesake. In addition, he has also proven to be “fiercely protective of the things he loves most,” including his new partner, Taylor Swift.
As for the progress of each of the animals, the Center also made it known that “Not only is [cub Taylor Swift] thriving, it looks like we have a little ‘Love Story’ unfolding on the Savannah.”
In addition, they have formed an inseparable bond, as they seem to do everything together: “The two have become nearly inseparable-grooming each other, napping side by side, and occasionally partaking in friendly roughhousing,” the Cheetah Rescue and Conservation Centre explained in the statement.
Undoubtedly, although they don’t sing or play football, this couple has also stolen the hearts of fans.
