O Internacional entrou na parada do calendário como integrante da zona de rebaixamento no Campeonato Brasileiro. Após a derrota frente ao Atlético-MG, fora de casa, pelo placar de 2 a 0, o Colorado caiu para a 17ª colocação, o que está preocupando os torcedores e, ao mesmo tempo, aumentando as críticas ao técnico Roger Machado.
Durante a pausa, a direção vai aproveitar para fazer mudanças no elenco colorado. Com isso, tanto chegadas quanto saídas devem acontecer. Uma delas, de acordo com informação do Vozes do Gigante, deve ser a do volante Thiago Maia. Com atuação abaixo do esperado, o meio-campista teria negociações com um time da MLS.

Ainda não há a informação do nome da equipe, mas é bastante possível que o ex-jogador do Flamengo vá atuar na liga de futebol dos Estados Unidos. A passagem de Thiago por Porto Alegre quase se encerrou no início de 2025, já que o Santos queria a sua contratação. A novela se arrastou por várias semanas e acabou com a permanência do atleta no Inter.
Sem entregar o futebol que a torcida colorada imaginava, os torcedores do Internacional estão decepcionados e, portanto, acreditam que a saída de Thiago Maia possa ser um bom negócio para a equipe gaúcha. Dentro do mercado da bola, os colorados estão de olho em nomes como Willian Arão, Elián Irala e Caíque Gonçalves.
Quando o Inter volta a jogar?
Com apenas duas vitórias em 12 rodadas de Brasileirão, o Inter vai ficar cerca de um mês no Z-4 da competição nacional. O Colorado só terá a chance de sair dessa situação em julho. Na volta da disputa nacional, o Colorado vai receber o Vitória, em partida que ainda terá nova data e horário a serem anunciados.
Além do Brasileirão, o Internacional também está na disputa de outras duas competições paralelas: a Copa do Brasil e a Copa Libertadores. Enquanto no mata-mata nacional o adversário será o Fluminense, de Renato Portaluppi, os gaúchos vão enfrentar o Flamengo de Flipe Luís valendo vaga nas quartas do certame continental.
