As donas da casa entram na partida com chances de se classificar. Mas, para isso, as Spartanas precisam vencer e torcer contra o Bragantino que está na 8ª posição com 17 pontos, um a mais que o América-MG que é o 9º colocado com 16. Com uma campanha de quatro vitórias, quatro empates e seis derrotas, a equipe mineira entra confiante por jogar em casa ao lado do seu torcedor.

Já a Ferroviária vai a Minas Gerais não só para cumprir tabela, mas querendo buscar três pontos para voltar ao G4 do Brasileirão Feminino, o que lhe daria a vantagem de jogar as partidas de volta do mata-mata em casa.
