Renato Gaúcho exalta torcida e vê empate como ‘injusto’ na estreia do Fluminense no Mundial de Clubes

Treinador do Flu disse que esperava jogo complicado e fez questão de pontuar sobre a intensidade do Flu no empate sem gols contra os alemães

Abrindo a participação no Mundial de Clubes, o Fluminense ficou no empate sem gols contra o Borussia Dortmund nesta terça-feira (17), na abertura do Grupo F. Em entrevista pós-jogo, o técnico Renato Gaúcho aprovou a exibição da equipe das Laranjeiras pelas chances criadas e o posicionamento dentro das quatro linhas, mas não deixou de lamentar as chances desperdiçadas.

Responsável pelas ações mais perigosas do jogo, o Tricolor perdeu oportunidades claras, a principal delas foi nos pés de Everaldo, que recebeu lançamento de John Arias, saiu mano a mano com a defesa alemã, mas optou por servir Cannobio, que finalizou fraco para a defesa do goleiro aurinegro, aos 12 minutos do segundo tempo. Na saída do gramado, Portaluppi citou o volume de jogadas de gol protagonizado pelo seus comandados contra a meta do goleiro Kobel, que trabalhou bastante.

“A equipe fez uma grande partida. Merecia ter vencido até pelas situações que nós criamos. Mas o futebol é assim mesmo. Tem que ir jogo a jogo, sabíamos que íamos ter um jogo difícil, nos comportamos muito bem, e a partir de amanhã, a gente começa a pensar no próximo adversário”, disse Renato Gaúcho.

Na partida inaugural do Grupo F, o Fluminense contou com o apoio maciço dos torcedores, que foram maioria entre os 34.736 torcedores que compareceram no Metlife Stadium, em East Rutherford. Efusivos e empolgados com o desempenho da equipe, os tricolores cantaram bastante nas arquibancadas, e a festa também foi destacada por Renato Gaúcho no pós-jogo.

“Agradecer os torcedores, vieram em grande número, acima até da expectativa, nos incentivaram, deram show, e acredito que estão satisfeitos (pelo desempenho e entrega da equipe)”, disse o comandante do Tricolor.
