Treinador dos merengues teve primeiro contato com atacante brasileiro nesta semana e exaltou presença do jogador no elenco
O Real Madrid fará nesta quarta-feira (18) a sua estreia na Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa, diante do Al Hilal. E contará com Vinícius Júnior suas principais estrelas à disposição para encarar o desafio de fazer o time já na competição retomar o caminho dos títulos. ‘Precisei de dez segundos para saber quem é’
E os primeiros contatos do técnico com o brasileiro foram bastante positivos, no que indicou as declarações do espanhol em entrevista coletiva. O atacante se apresentou nos últimos dias aos merengues, depois de estar com a seleção brasileira nos jogos das Eliminatórias da Copa do Mundo, e não escondeu seu ‘encantamento’ com o atacante assim que o teve à disposição.
“Eu não conhecia o Vinícius Júnior pessoalmente. Foi um encontro muito bom e só precisei de dez segundos para saber quem ele é. Rapidamente se percebe a sua alegria. É passional, emocional e isto me encanta”, disse Xabi Alonso.
Outras novidades?
Se Vinícius Júnior encantou ao novo treinador do Real Madrid, outros dois astros do ataque merengue, Mbappé e Rodrygo, causaram preocupação na equipe. O primeiro sentiu sintomas de febre e ficou fora de treinos, mas poderá ter sua chance de entrar em campo diante dos sauditas. Já o brasileiro, que tem sofrido com desgaste físico, ainda não há qualquer sinal se ele aparecerá na estreia.
“Kylian (Mbappé) melhorou nesta manhã, mas por conta do calor, ele não treinou. Vamos ver como ele se desenvolve, precisaremos esperar para ver. Temos 11 jogadores e precisamos garantir que todos estejam na mesma direção. Trabalhei com ele em todos os aspectos, mas veremos o que vai acontecer”, declarou o treinador, em relação ao francês.
“Sei o que aconteceu com ele (Rodrygo) no final da temporada, que não foi fácil. Mas ele se aproveitou, que foi bom. Conversamos e vejo que ele está ansioso para se divertir, principalmente com a qualidade dele. Conversamos sobre isso, compartilhamos, e agora é hora de colocar em prática”, comentou Xabi Alonso sobre Rodrygo.
