Colorado terá depois de retorno das competições uma série de jogos importantes fora de casa para tentar livrar-se de crise na temporada
O Internacional agora terá um período de descanso enquanto rola a Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa, mas quando o futebol brasileiro voltar, terá que lidar com sua crise e com o fato de que terá diversas partidas decisivas para os rumos do time. E uma parte delas será fora do Beira-Rio.
Em agosto, uma sequência de três jogos como visitante em três competições diferentes poderá afastar o Colorado do mau momento. Ou até mesmo aumentar a pressão na equipe caso os resultados não sejam aqueles aos quais os torcedores e o técnico Roger Machado desejam para ver a equipe livre dos problemas aos quais vivencia neste momento da temporada.
Série de peso
Curiosamente, dois destes três jogos serão no Rio de Janeiro. A primeira partida desta série será no dia 7/8, quando o Internacional fará a partida de volta da oitavas de final da Copa do Brasil diante do Fluminense, possivelmente no Maracanã. Também no Mário Filho, mas no dia 13, os gaúchos encaram o Flamengo, também em oitavas de final, mas desta vez da Libertadores. Entre estas duas partidas, na semana do dia 9, enfrentará pelo Brasileirão o Red Bull Bragantino.
Tal sequência pode representar, em especial os dois jogos de mata-mata, a ‘vida’ colorada na temporada. A equipe poderá na competição nacional sair com a vaga nas quartas de final ou até eliminada, dependendo do resultado, enquanto que, na competição sul-americana, terá a chance de conseguir um placar que pode deixar alguma vantagem para a volta, que será em seus domínios. Para piorar, esta sequência longe de casa será contra três times da parte de cima da tabela da Série A.
O retorno do Internacional ao Brasileirão, inicialmente marcado para o próximo dia 12, é contra o Vitória, em casa. Este confronto será direto na luta de ambos contra a zona de rebaixamento, onde está atualmente o Colorado, com 11 pontos. E, depois, também em casa, enfrentará o Ceará no dia 20, já que a partida contra o Bahia foi adiada pela participação do Tricolor de Aço nos play-offs da Copa Sul-Americana.
A volta ao futebol
Portanto, somente no dia 23, os gaúchos farão a primeira partida fora de casa depois da paralisação do futebol para o Mundial de Clubes, e contra outro adversário direto na luta contra o Z-4, o Santos. Para compensar, também terá uma série de três partidas em casa antes do confronto que inicia a sequência como visitante.
Ela envolve dois confrontos diretos da parte de baixo da tabela, começando com o Vasco (dia 27) e, depois, o São Paulo (dia 3/8), ambos pelo Brasileirão. Entre estas partidas, o duelo de ida das oitavas de final da Copa do Brasil, diante o Fluminense, no dia 7.
