O Santos enfrentou uma série de problemas durante o primeiro semestre, como trocas de treinador, crises dentro e fora de campo, além de diversos maus resultados. O que despertou em várias vezes a revolta da torcida, que teve boa parte do atual elenco santista como alvo das críticas e da ira desta na Vila Belmiro e pelas redes sociais
Dentre as exceções, uma delas é Gabriel Brazão. O goleiro, titular durante toda a temporada, tem se salvado das críticas e ganhado moral da torcida nas enquetes com os torcedores, incluindo uma feita pela Gazeta Esportiva, que pediu a seus usuários para avaliar a performance do arqueiro em 2025 até o presente momento.
- Maioria aprova atuação do goleiro
Segundo a enquete, a ampla maioria dos que votaram (87,40%) aprovam o desempenho de Brazão pelo Peixe na temporada, a vendo como ótima. Um número que poderia ficar maior junto com os 9,45% que a veem como ‘boa’. Apenas 2,36% dos que participaram da enquete desaprovam a temporada do goleiro, a apontando como ‘péssima’, e há ainda 0,79% que votaram na opção ‘regular’.
Nesta temporada, são 27 jogos de Gabriel Brazão como titular com a camisa do Santos. O jogador enfrentou o ano irregular do time, com o mau começo de Brasileirão e a eliminação na Copa do Brasil para o CRB. Mas tem ganho moral com atuações importantes e a confiança do técnico Cléber Xavier para fazer a equipe voltar a brilhar.
Alvo de outros clubes
E, além disto, também há o interesse de outros clubes no jogador. Equipes da Europa tem feito sondagens ao atleta, buscando a chance de uma potencial oferta. Chelsea, Galatasaray e Porto já teriam monitorado a situação de Brazão junto ao Peixe, assim como clubes da Itália, estes de nomes não revelados pela imprensa.
Por enquanto, negociações em curso não existem e o torcedor santista tem a esperança de que o jogador possa ajudar o time a se manter fora da zona de rebaixamento do Brasileirão, onde a equipe passará a pausa da competição para a disputa da Copa do Mundo de Clubes, e a faça subir na tabela do certame.
