O Atlético-MG é uma das equipes do futebol brasileiro que tem se destacado pela capacidade de investimento nos últimos anos. Porém, a torcida cobra que os 4 R’s, que comandam a SAF do Galo, façam mais investimentos para qualificar a equipe. Ao mesmo tempo, o técnico Cuca cobrou publicamente a diretoria por reforços.
Atlético-MG pode ter novo investidor na SAF
“Quanto a melhorar a equipe para o segundo semestre, a diretoria está vendo às necessidades que a gente tem. E, certamente, a gente vai fortalecer o time para o segundo semestre. Todas as equipes se fortalecem. Você vê, hoje, os grandes, por melhor que eles estejam, estão indo ao mercado. E com a gente não vai ser diferente também”, disse o comandante.
Agora, a informação que surge através de Lucas Tanaka, setorista do Atlético-MG, é que parte da Sociedade Anônima do Futebol (SAF) está sendo colocada no mercado para possíveis investidores que tenham interesse em fazer novos aportes financeiros, já que Rubens Menin, Rafael Menin, Ricardo Guimarães, Renato Salvador colocaram o pé no freio.

Diante disso, o bilionário norte americano Stan Kroenke, que é sócio-majoritário do Arsenal, e de equipes como Denver Nuggets (NBA), Los Angeles Rams (NFL), Colorado Avalanche e Colorado Rapids surge como uma das possibilidades. O magnata tem uma fortuna avaliada em 16,2 bilhões de dólares (R$ 89 bilhões).
Para os atleticanos, os nomes que estão tocando a SAF do Galo estão investindo menos do que adversários diretos na disputa por títulos como Flamengo e Palmeiras, por exemplo, que monopolizaram o favoritismo nas últimas temporadas.
