Comentarista crê que time rubro-negro ganha estímulo extra para vencer duelo com time inglês nesta sexta-feira (20) às 15h (de Brasília)
No confronto entre os atuais campeões da Libertadores e da Champions League, o Botafogo conseguiu um vitória histórica diante do todo poderoso PSG, por 1 a 0, na noite de ontem (19), por 1 a 0, no estádio Rose Bowl, em Pasadena, na Califórnia. O resultado vai estimular o Flamengo que enfrenta o Chelsea hoje (20), logo mais às 15h (de Brasília), segundo o jornalista Juca Kfouri.
Em texto no UOL Esporte, o comentarista esportivo destacou que o Rubro-Negro estará ainda mais estimulado para encarar a equipe inglesa, que garantiu vaga na Copa do Mundo da Fifa por ter sido campeã da Champions League em 2021, depois do grande resultado conquistado pelo rival carioca diante do Paris Saint-Germain.
“O efeito Botafogo estimula o Flamengo e alerta o Chelsea. Farão jogo sem favorito. E se tivesse de apostar apostaria no Flamengo, mais de prontidão que o Chelsea, o que está longe de significar desinteresse inglês, história pra boi dormir”, escreveu Juca Kfouri, destacando também que o time de Londres quer muito vencer a competição, assim como os demais participantes.
Principal destaque deste primeiro semestre no Flamengo, com direito a artilharia do Campeonato Brasileiro, o meia Arrascaeta ainda inspira alguns cuidados da comissão técnica do time rubro-negro, segundo revelou o técnico Filipe Luís, em entrevista coletiva antes do confronto com o Chelsea pela segunda rodada do Grupo D da Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa.
“(Arrascaeta) é um jogador que, como a gente já sabe, veio de uma operação importante do ano passado e está talvez no melhor momento. Então, sempre temos que entender que dor articular tem que ter um cuidado especial e nós isso com ele”, disse Filipe Luís, que falou também sobre a recuperação do meia De La Cruz. “O Nico voltou a treinar com o grupo, mas está há bastante tempo sem jogar, provavelmente não vai estar à disposição para jogar”, completou.
Técnico do Chelsea admite que vai poupar alguns jogadores
Em entrevista coletiva na prévia da partida contra a equipe carioca, o comandante do time inglês revelou que pelo calor previsto para o horário da partida, que terá início às 14h no horário local, terá que fazer um rodízio entre os jogadores de sua equipe. Para ele, as altas temperaturas vão afetar as duas equipes, mas o Flamengo está mais acostumado a jogar no calor.
“Não é fácil, como você disse, por causa da temperatura. Essa é a razão pela qual vamos tentar rodar os jogadores. Mas isso (temperatura), é para nós e para eles também. Infelizmente para nós, os times brasileiros estão mais acostumados com o calor. Mas não importa. Vamos dar o nosso melhor e tentar vencer o jogo”, indicou o treinador do Chelsea.
Maresca revelou que seu plano é de dar um descanso para até cinco atletas no jogo contra o Flamengo. “Não estou dizendo que vamos rodar dez ou onze jogadores a cada jogo, mas com certeza precisaremos rodar três, quatro ou cinco jogadores a cada jogo. Isso porque não podemos jogar a cada três dias com os mesmos jogadores”, explicou.
