Garantido nas oitavas de final do Mundial de Clubes após a vitória sobre o Boca Juniors, por 2 a 1, o Bayern de Munique pode ter pela frente o Flamengo dependendo dos resultados na última rodada da fase de grupos. Vincent Kompany, técnico do time alemão, foi perguntado sobre o Rubro-Negro e não economizou nos elogios.
Mais cedo, ele acompanhou o triunfo carioca por 3 a 1 sobre o Chelsea. Na avaliação do belga, trata-se de uma equipe com mais alto nível técnico dirigida por um profissional que ele conhece e nutre um grande respeito.
“É um time de elite. Acho que eles têm uma mistura fantástica entre intensidade na pressão e também um forte bloco defensivo mais baixo quando precisaram”, declarou Kompany em entrevista concedida à CazeTV.
Liderança rubro-negra garantida
Com seis pontos ganhos, o Flamengo lidera o Grupo D, com Chelsea e Espérance logo atrás, com três cada. Eles, inclusive, estarão frente a frente na última rodada brigando pela classificação. Os jogos serão na terça-feira (24), às 22h (de Brasília). O Rubro-Negro, que venceu ambos, já tem a liderança assegurada na chave.
“Eles têm jogadores fantásticos como o Danilo, que eu conheço bem. Joguei com ele. A experiência, a capacidade de controlar a posse. É um time de elite. Enfim, não tem jogo fácil e faremos de tudo para vencer todos”, acrescentou.
Quem pode ser o adversário do Flamengo nas oitavas de final?
Garantido nas oitavas, o Flamengo agora fica no aguardo de quem será o seu rival no primeiro mata-mata do Mundial de Clubes. Este adversário sairá do grupo C, onde tem o Bayern de Munique também classificado. Contudo, os alemães ainda decidem no último jogo o primeiro lugar.
Na sexta-feira (20), os Bávaros derrotaram o Boca Juniors por 2 a 1, em Miami. Depois de sair na frente com Kane, o campeão da Bundesliga viu os argentinos empatarem com um golaço marcado por Merentiel. Apesar do susto, alcançou o tento da vitória.
Para “fugir” do Flamengo, o Bayern precisa apenas de um empate com o Benfica. Assim, os portugueses enfrentariam os brasileiros.
“Vocês viram como é difícil para times europeus jogarem contra equipes sul-americanas. Acho que fizemos isso muito bem, controlamos as emoções no jogo. Sim, sofremos um gol, mas mantivemos a calma. E a maneira como encaramos o jogo foi muito madura. No geral, foi uma atuação sólida”, declarou Kompany.
