Um dos maiores esportistas da história, Rafael Nadal ganhou destaque no jornal espanhol “Marca” nesta sexta-feira (20). O ex-tenista entrou na lista do portal de cinco recordes mais difíceis de quebrar em todos os esportes. Em Roland Garros, o espanhol dominou o saibro com 14 títulos e um aproveitamento absurdo, muito complicado de alguém superar um dia.
O grande recorde de Rafael Nadal em Roland Garros
O Grand Slam de Roland Garros é a “Copa do Mundo” do tênis, é como se fosse a picanha no churrasco. Porém, Rafael Nadal dominou esse torneio como poucos na história, conquistando 14 títulos, o que ainda nem é seu maior feito no circuito francês.
Rafael Nadal detém um recorde praticamente inquebrável em Roland Garros. Das 116 partidas que disputou, o espanhol venceu incríveis 112 e perdeu apenas quatro. Isso é um aproveitamento absurdo de 96,55%.
Apenas três tenistas conseguiram vencer Rafael Nadal em Roland Garros. Um dos seus grandes rivais, Novak Djokovic, realizou esse feito duas vezes, em 2015 e 2021. Enquanto isso, o sueco Robin Soderling o derrotou em 2009 e o alemão Alexander Zverev repetiu a façanha em 2024.
Apesar de parecer impossível quebrar esse recorde tão expressivo, Rafael Nadal deu uma declaração muito humilde em 2020. “Sou consciente que é muito complicado o que fiz em Roland Garros e que agora parece impossível de superar, mas não tenho dúvidas que alguém o fará“.

Além de Rafael Nadal, o “Marca” citou outros recordes incríveis em outros esportes. Assim, salto com vara, atletismo, basquete e natação entraram na lista. Portanto, esses são os outros quatro recordes “inquebráveis” da lista:
- Salto com vara: Armand Duplantis – 6,28 metros de altura
- Atletismo: Usain Bolt – 100 metros em 9,58 segundos
- Basquete: Wilt Chamberlain – 100 pontos em uma partida
- Natação: Michael Phelps – 28 medalhas olímpicas
