Tricolor das Laranjeiras ainda não tem vaga assegurada na próxima fase; Empate na última rodada é o suficiente
A vitória do Fluminense por 4 a 2 sobre o Ulsan HD, no sábado, deixou o time brasileiro praticamente com um pé nas oitavas de final da competição internacional. O volante Facundo Bernal, porém, está bastante confiante na classificação para o mata-mata, tanto que já até mesmo imagina um confronto com a Inter de Milão.
Em entrevista à TNT Sports, o meio-campista uruguaio foi questionado sobre o adversário ideal que ele escolheria. Sem pestanejar, o jogador deixou clara sua preferência em encarar os italianos que foram vice-campeões na última edição da Champions League.
“A Inter de Milão. A gente, contra um time grande, tem esse diferencial que todos querem jogar com personalidade e coragem”, respondeu Bernal.

Cabe ressaltar que, se a fase de grupos terminasse hoje, Fluminense e Inter de Milão estariam frente a frente nas oitavas de final do Mundial. Isso porque o Tricolor das Laranjeiras é líder do Grupo F com quatro pontos, enquanto a Internazionale figura em segundo lugar na chave E, estando atrás do River Plate.
Na última rodada, porém, o cenário pode sofrer uma drástica alteração. O Flu vai encarar o Mamelodi Sundowns, que ainda sonha com a classificação e promete dificultar ao máximo a vida dos brasileiros. Enquanto River e Inter se encontram na próxima semana, duelo que interessa ao Monterrey, que matematicamente pode ser o grande beneficiado.

Depois de abrir o placar com John Arias, o torcedor do Fluminense esperava por uma vitória tranquila sobre os coreanos. Entretanto, antes mesmo do intervalo, o cenário mudou radicalmente. Antes atento na defesa, o time carioca relaxou na partida e cometeu duas falhas que foram cruciais para a reação adversária.
Em dois contra-ataques, o Ulsan conseguiu a virada no placar, surpreendendo todos os presentes no MetLife Stadium, em Nova Jersey. No segundo tempo, o Flu voltou com outra pegada, mais ligado, e acabou premiado com o triunfo.
Na entrevista coletiva, Renato Gaúcho admitiu que deu uma sonora bronca no vestiário. “Às vezes a gente precisa levantar a voz, cobrar um pouco mais forte, porque as coisas que aconteceram, no momento que tomamos a virada, foram exatamente as coisas que cobro deles”, relatou.
