Na tarde deste domingo (22), o Real Madrid venceu o Pachuca por 3 a 1 na 2ª rodada do Mundial de Clubes. Bellingham, Guler e Valverde marcaram para o time espanhol, enquanto Montiel descontou para os mexicanos no Bank of America Stadium.
Assim, o Real Madrid assume momentaneamente a liderança do grupo H do Mundial de Clubes, com quatro pontos. Para se manter na ponta, o Real torce por um empate no duelo entre RB Salzburg e Al-Hilal. Enquanto isso, o Pachuca continua em último lugar, sem pontuar, e não tem mais chances de classificação.
Real Madrid tem um expulso, mas abre boa vantagem
O primeiro tempo do Real Madrid começou estranho, com o time errando bastante na partida. Logo aos 7′, o zagueiro Raúl Asencio recebeu cartão vermelho direto por falta em cima de Salomon Rondón. O atacante do Pachuca era o último homem.
No entanto, depois da expulsão, o Real Madrid conseguiu se arrumar em campo, e o Pachuca não ofereceu mais tanto risco. Assim, o time espanhol ganhou espaço, e aos 35′ Jude Bellingham recebeu belo passe de Fran García, invadiu a área e bateu forte e rasteiro para fazer 1 a 0. Oito minutos depois, Gonzalo García fez bela jogada pela esquerda e tocou para Arda Guler que limpou a marcação e fez 2 a 0.
Pachuca pressiona, mas não evita derrota
Na segunda etapa, o Pachuca foi em busca do resultado e atacou mais do que o Real Madrid. A pressão dos mexicanos foi tão grande, que Courtois teve que fazer 11 defesas importantes durante a partida. No entanto, o time merengue chegou ao terceiro gol em uma das poucas investidas do 2º tempo. Brahim Díaz deu um belo passe pelo alto para Valverde tocar na saída do goleiro e fazer 3 a 0.
Na reta final do jogo, o Pachuca conseguiu descontar. Em uma jogada de abafa, aos 80′, Montiel chutou da entrada da área, a bola bateu em Tchouaméni e foi para o gol. O toque no francês tirou Courtois da jogada, sacramentando o placar de 3 a 1.
