O Palmeiras entra em campo hoje (23) em busca de pelo menos um empate para carimbar sua vaga às oitavas de final do Mundial de Clubes. Em caso de derrota, ainda pode avançar ao mata-mata dependendo do que acontecer entre Porto x Al Ahly.

A tendência é que de fato alguns pendurados sejam preservados nesta terceira rodada de Mundial de Clubes, como Felipe Anderson e Raphael Veiga. Não necessariamente por conta do cartão, mas também por uma opção técnica. Richard Ríos e Giay também podem perder lugar no time pensando em uma rodagem de elenco. Flaco López ainda pode ganhar a vaga de Vitor Roque.

Em caso de derrota, é ultrapassado pelo time de Lionel Messi, mas pode avançar em segundo. Neste cenário, dependeria de um tropeço do Porto (empate ou derrota). O Al Ahly, outro time da chave, não tem chance de ultrapassar o Alviverde. Caso o clube português vença, o Verdão ainda pode se classificar desde que não perca por dois gols de diferença ou o Porto vença por dois gols.
