Hokejová extraliga vzkvétá. Za poslední roky šla její kvalita nahoru a z nejrůznějších stran jsou slyšet hlasy, že už předčila třeba finskou nejvyšší soutěž. Hokejově i finančně, za což patří majitelům tuzemských klubů velký dík, jak svými prostředky dokáží přilákat zahraniční plejery. Svým posledním rozhodnutím však extraliga českému hokeji ani v nejmenším nepomáhá. Naopak mu ubližuje.
