O Craque Neto voltou a opinar que a seleção brasileira deveria dar mais espaço para jogadores que atuam em solo nacional, com atenção maior para o trio que tem sido protagonista nos últimos anos: Flamengo, Botafogo e Palmeiras. Em análise feita no “Os Donos da Bola” desta segunda-feira (23), o comentarista elencou nomes que poderiam ser testados com maior frequência visando o ciclo da Copa do Mundo de 2026.
No entendimento dele, o sucesso dos clubes brasileiros na disputa do Mundial de Clubes é uma prova que o futebol nacional ostenta qualidade, e merecia uma valorização maior, sendo responsável por oferecer a maior parte dos convocados ao escrete, havendo apenas um complemento de jogadores que atuam no Velho Continente.
“É o seguinte, quando a gente vai fazer convocação da seleção brasileira, o Igor Jesus teve chance de novo? O Raphael Veiga teve chance? A gente tem chance com o Wesley, Léo Ortiz e Ayrton Lucas como titulares? O Murilo e o Estêvão do Palmeiras, têm chances? A gente precisa entender que estes jogadores que jogam no Flamengo, e principalmente no Palmeiras, deveriam ser melhores utilizados. E não o Neymar, que vocês acham que esse sujeito vai ser a única esperança”, opinou o Craque Neto.
“Ainda esqueci do John, do Pedro e do Gerson, que é um fenômeno jogando bola. Sempre falei aqui que deveriam fazer uma seleção com 25% de cada um entre Flamengo, Botafogo e Palmeiras, e enxertar com os craques que estão lá fora e são muito poucos”, complementou o apresentador da Band.
