O locutor esportivo arriscou que o Verdão levará a melhor no confronto válido pelas oitavas de final da Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa
Nilson Cesar mais uma vez não ficou em cima do muro ao projetar a decisão entre Palmeiras e Botafogo. Depois de decidirem o título do Brasileirão Série A nos dois últimos anos, agora as duas equipes medirão forças por uma vaga nas quartas de final do Mundial de Clubes da Fifa. O confronto das oitavas será neste sábado (28), às 13h (horário de Brasília).
O veterano narrador da Jovem Pan ressaltou o grande equilíbrio atual entre os dois times brasileiros. “Não tem favorito, é 50% pro Palmeiras e 50% pro Botafogo”, avaliou o radialista em vídeo nas suas redes sociais. Enquanto os paulistas terminaram na liderança do Grupo A, os cariocas ficaram em segundo no Grupo B depois da derrota para o Atlético de Madrid por 1 a 0 ontem (23).
Sentimento de eliminação do Botafogo no Mundial de Clubes
Mesmo com ambos classificados, Nilson Cesar apontou um desempenho irregular tanto do Verdão de Abel Ferreira quanto do Fogão na fase de grupos do torneio. “O Palmeiras, na verdade, fez uma boa partida contra o Porto, depois não jogou mais bem. O Botafogo também não vem apresentando um super futebol, não”, analisou, ao mesmo tempo em que destacou o sistema defensivo do Glorioso montado por Renato Paiva.
Apesar de ter reforçado que não há um favorito entre Palmeiras e Botafogo, mesmo que tenha ressaltado um duelo parelho entre ambos, o comunicador arriscou uma vitória palmeirense no fim-de-semana. “O meu feeling diz que passa o Palmeiras. Mas é só feeling, é só um sentimento”, justificou.
Nilson Cesar reprovou atuação do Palmeiras
Apesar de apostar na classificação palestrina, Nilson Cesar não ficou nada satisfeito com a atuação alviverde no sofrido empate em 2 a 2 com o Inter Miami ontem (23). O Palmeiras saiu perdendo por 2 a 0 e foi buscar o empate nos minutos finais através de Paulinho e Maurício, que entraram no segundo tempo.
“Fez uma partida desse ‘tamanhozinho’ o Palmeiras, jogou mal”, criticou o locutor esportivo, complementando que o Verdão ‘achou’ dois gols diante da equipe norte-americana. “Não pode voltar a jogar mal assim, que aí corre risco de perder o jogo pro Botafogo”, alertou.
Por fim, mesmo que o Inter Miami tenha nomes como Lionel Messi e Luis Suárez, Nilson Cesar não acredita que a equipe da Major League Soccer (MLS) fará frente diante do Paris Saint-Germain pelas oitavas da Copa do Mundo de Clubes no domingo (29), às 13h (horário de Brasília). “É muito favorito o time do PSG”, resumiu.
