Arrascaeta celebra gol em jogo do Brasileirão (Adriano Fontes/Flamengo)
Um dos principais jogadores do futebol brasileiro nos últimos anos, Arrascaeta ganhou elogios de Rafinha, o ex-lateral do Flamengo. Ele argumentou que o uruguaio tem nível para atuar em qualquer time do futebol europeu e revelou o que ouviu dos clubes do velho continente sobre o meio-campista de 31 anos.
“Agora que não estou jogando mais posso falar. Times grandíssimos da Europa perguntaram como é esse menino, como que não veio para cá, qual o valor dele, por que não veio jogar na Europa”, explicou o ex-atleta, que seguiu dizendo: “Com o Arrascaeta em campo, é um jogo. Sem ele, é totalmente diferente. Ele ia se adaptar e jogar tranquilo em qualquer time da Europa“, cravou ele, em declaração ao SporTV.
Rafinha atuou ao lado do uruguaio
Eles fizeram parte do histórico time comandado por Jorge Jesus em 2019, que conquistou o Campeonato Brasileiro batendo recordes e também a Copa Libertadores da América. Meses depois, o ex-lateral optou por rumar ao Olympiacos, da Grécia, e teve uma reta final de carreira com passagens por Grêmio, São Paulo e Coritiba.
Rafinha comentou sobre os tempos de Fla e analisou as características do meia: “Sou muito fã dele, tive o prazer de jogar com ele. Não dá pique de 50 metros, nunca vai atingir 36 km/h, mas com a bola no pé, precisa de pouco para deixar alguém na cara do gol. É muito inteligente, tem muita facilidade e principalmente tem gol”, comentou o ex-jogador do Bayern de Munique.
Arrascaeta em alta no ano de 2025
Depois ter certa oscilação em alguns momentos de 2023 e 2024, principalmente pela questão física, o meio-campista voltou ao mais alto nível e vem se destacando em 2025 com a camisa rubro-negra. Ele é o artilheiro do Brasileirão Série A, com 9 gols, e está apresentando ótimo desempenho também no Mundial de Clubes.
Agora, Arrascaeta é uma das esperanças para o mata-mata da competição. O Flamengo tem o duro desafio contra o Bayern de Munique, no próximo domingo (29), às 17h (de Brasília), em partida válida pelas oitavas de final, em Miami, na Flórida.
“É importantíssimo para o jogo contra o Bayern”, ressaltou Rafinha sobre o impacto do estrangeiro na equipe comandada por Filipe Luís.
