Cristiano Ronaldo renovou seu contrato com o Al-Nassr até 2027. Nesta quinta-feira (26), o capitão e principal estrela da seleção portuguesa acertou a continuidade no clube por mais dois anos. Nas últimas semanas, seu nome passou a ser especulado em outras equipes e gerou mistério ainda maior com uma mensagem enigmática nas redes sociais. A permanência na Arábia Saudita despertou inúmeras reações de torcedores e fãs.
Com mais duas temporadas garantidas, CR7 terá tempo o suficiente para alcançar uma marca história na sua carreira: o sonhado milésimo gol. Neste momento, o camisa 7 ostenta 938 tentos oficiais. Na avaliação de alguns, o atacante encerrará a carreira assim que conquistar o objetivo.
Muitos, porém, lamentaram a escolha de Cristiano Ronaldo. Como último projeto de carreira, estes imaginavam que ele pudesse optar por um desafio mais atrativo sob o ponto de vista técnico, isso porque o português não tem grandes conquistas no Al-Nassr.
Os torcedores do Sporting, clube que CR7 guarda no coração por todo significado em sua trajetória, também não aprovaram a decisão.
Recentemente, times do Brasil, como Botafogo e Fluminense, e da Argentina, sendo River Plate e Boca Juniors, procuraram o jogador para a disputa do Mundial.
Flamengo ‘recusou’ a contratação de Cristiano Ronaldo
Na véspera do Mundial de Clubes, José Boto, executivo de futebol do Flamengo foi perguntado se haveria a possibilidade de reforçar o time carioca com o português para a disputa do torneio internacional. O dirigente, porém, não vislumbrava como positiva a ideia e explicou.
“Não vemos com bons olhos a chegada de um jogador, seja o Cristiano (Ronaldo) ou outro qualquer, só para jogar o Mundial. Não nos parece que isso, em termos do grupo, tenha um impacto positivo. Vamos tentar reforçar nessa janela para o Mundial, mas o principal objetivo é que sejam reforços para o restante da temporada, não só para o Mundial de Clubes”, avaliou o mandatário do Flamengo.
Publicamente, o presidente do Fluminense revelou ter feito uma tentativa pelo jogador, mas não houve acordo entre as partes. Assim como o River Plate também demonstrou interesse, mas CR7 decidiu não jogar a competição.
