O Brasileirão Série A poderá ter uma grande mudança em 2026. Segundo informação publicada pelo GE, a CBF começa a fazer estudos para que a tecnologia do chamado ‘impedimento semiautomático’ comece a ser usada nos jogos da competição.
Um grupo da Comissão de Arbitragem da entidade já estaria ‘avançando’ para poder discutir a implantação dos procedimentos a partir da próxima temporada. Samir Xaud, presidente da confederação, é considerado ‘entusiasta’ do projeto e é quem dará o aval para que tais estudos possam se converter em realidade no futuro, com a procura pela fornecedora do serviço.

A previsão feita pela CBF é que, para os jogos do Brasileirão, o custo seja de R$ 100 mil por partida para que a tecnologia seja usada nos estádios da próxima edição da Série A, levando conta as diferentes características e estruturas dos campos de jogo. Em comparação, o gasto médio que a entidade tem com o VAR por jogo seria estimado em R$ 20 mil.
Mundial de Clubes usa tecnologia
Implantada pela Fifa na Copa do Mundo de 2022 e usada em outras competições, como a Champions League, a Premier League e, agora, no Mundial de Clubes, a tecnologia do ‘impedimento semiautomático’ foi criada para ajudar a arbitragem em campo e a de vídeo a marcar lances irregulares de forma mais eficaz e sem causar problemas ou controvérsias.
No sistema, câmeras espalhadas pelo gramado e um sistema com inteligência artificial monitoram as jogadas e, em lances de impedimento, ‘recriam virtualmente’ a jogada. Com as imagens, o procedimento dá aos responsáveis pelo VAR uma visão melhor das jogadas para apontar e marcar impedimentos, principalmente em jogadas consideradas controversas (como o chamado ‘lance ajustado’)
No Brasil, em apenas uma ocasião tal tecnologia foi usada. Na final do Paulistão de 2025, a Federação Paulista de Futebol implementou o sistema na final, entre Palmeiras e Corinthians. Nas contas da entidade, o gasto para instalar e usar todos os procedimentos para marcação de lances deste tipo foi de R$ 1 milhão.
