“Você (Villani) estava falando do Ederson. A possibilidade dele terminar esse ano no City e, sem contrato, escolher para onde vai. Ele é muito valorizado no mercado. Logo após o gol do City, a Juventus correu atrás do prejuízo e, através do passe errado de Ederson, chegou ao empate. Como Roger Flores estava elogiando o goleiro, houve uma sinalização, nas redes sociais, de que o comentarista teve “influência” para que o time italiano chegasse ao empate.

Ciente de que seria atrelado ao lance, Roger Flores se esquivou da possibilidade de ter “zicado” Ederson. Após o discurso de Gustavo Villani, que trouxe o impacto do arqueiro em duas jogadas diferentes, o profissional da Globo deixou claro a intenção de, no momento, enaltecer os passes longos em campo. Mesmo assim, os internautas seguiram citando o comentarista em relação ao lance.

Paulo Nunes tenta “ajudar” o colega de Rede Globo
Presente na transmissão do Mundial, Paulo Nunes avaliou que, além da falha de Ederson, a Juventus teve competência para marcar a saída de bola do Manchester City. Apesar disso, para evitar outra situação parecida, houve uma sinalização de que, até o final do jogo, novas falas envolvendo a capacidade do goleiro seriam evitados.
“Secamos ele, Paulo (Nunes).”, externou Roger Flores. “Tem que falar da marcação da Juventus. No lance anterior, já tinha feito o que faz de melhor, uma transição rápida pelo lado direito e continuou marcando pressão. O passe do Ederson foi errado, o Bernardo Silva não teve controle.
