Recentemente, chamou a atenção da torcida do São Paulo o grande número de negócios feitos entre o Tricolor e o Porto. Para destacar alguns, o lateral-direito Moreira e o atacante William Gomes deixaram o futebol brasileiro rumo à Europa. Em contrapartida, o lateral-esquerdo Wendell desembarcou no Morumbis.
O Porto voltou a ficar em evidência no noticiário pois foi um dos 32 clubes que participou da Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa. Depois de enfrentar inclusive, o Palmeiras, rival do Tricolor, os portugueses amargaram uma campanha vexatória, que os deixou na terceira colocação do grupo A, fora das oitavas de final.
Agora, os portugueses devem fazer uma extensa lista de dispensas após a participação no Mundial. O técnico Martin Anselmi e vários jogadores não farão mais parte do clube. Dois nomes brasileiros, inclusive, estão na fila para deixar o Porto: o zagueiro Otávio e o meia-atacante Pepê.

Diante dessa informação do jornal “A Bola”, os torcedores do São Paulo debateram sobre a possibilidade de chegada de ambos os jogadores ao Morumbis, levando em consideração o histórico recente de negociações entre portugueses e tricolores.
De maneira irônica, um são paulino escreveu que o presidente do clube, Julio Casares, poderia abrir mão das categorias de base do São Paulo, em Cotia. “Tentar tentaria né, mas é capaz do Porto pedir Cotia inteira e o Casares aceitar”, postou o torcedor.
