O volante Fred, do Fenerbahçe, confirmou que já conversou com a diretoria do Atlético-MG sobre um possível retorno ao futebol brasileiro. Em entrevista à Band Minas, o ex-jogador da Seleção Brasileira deu detalhes sobre como estão as negociações com o Galo.
No entanto, as notícias não são boas para torcedores que esperam a chegada de Fred ao Atlético-MG neste momento. O volante confirmou as conversas, mas reiterou seu desejo de cumprir o contrato com o Fenerbahçe, da Turquia.
“Tenho algum tempo de contrato ainda lá no Fenerbahçe. Estou muito feliz lá. Já conversei com o pessoal, deixei as portas abertas aqui no Atlético. Já falei com algumas pessoas, mas espero cumprir o meu contrato lá”, contou Fred.
Apesar da negativa de vir jogar no Brasil neste momento, Fred disse que acompanha o Atlético-MG e torce pelo sucesso do clube. O volante é um interesse antigo do clube, que já o procurou na janela de transferências anterior.
“Já tinha conversado com o Victor [diretor do clube] há algum tempo atrás, na janela passada, em janeiro. Deixei claro que tenho contrato vigente no Fenerbahçe, então agora não seria o momento”, confirmou o experiente volante.
Além disso, Fred revelou que o Atlético-MG conta com ele quando decidir voltar ao Brasil. “Meu empresário também está sempre conversando com o [Paulo] Bracks, e eles estão deixando as portas abertas para mim. Falaram que quando eu mudar a chavinha, e querer voltar para o Brasil, as portas estão abertas. Agradeço pelo carinho e pelo interesse”, disse o meia.
Atlético pode comprar o jogador
Então, como Fred possui contrato com o Fenerbahçe por mais dois anos, a única opção para o Atlético-MG é comprar o seu passe. Assim, teria que fazer uma proposta para o time turco e esperar por uma resposta positiva. Atualmente, o volante está com valor de mercado em torno de 10 milhões de euros.
