Jetzt bringt Star-Berater Jorge Mendes richtig Bewegung in die Sache! Er hat laut einem Bericht der spanischen „SPORT“ für seinen Klienten mehrere Interessenten aus der englischen Premier League an der Angel – und die geben bekanntlich gerne sehr hohe Summen aus. Unter anderem Manchester United, wo Trincãos Ex-Coach Ruben Amorim dem Vernehmen nach ein großer Fan des Flügelspielers ist. Auch Klubs wie Manchester City und der FC Bayern sollen laut Berichten ein Auge auf ihn geworfen haben.
Barca macht Druck, dass Sporting den Offensivmann endlich verkauft. Denn das Geld würde den klammen Katalanen extrem helfen – sowohl beim Aufstocken des Gehaltsbudgets als auch, um möglicherweise den Verkauf eines anderen Stars im Sommer zu vermeiden. Trincãos Wechsel könnte zur entscheidenden Finanzspritze für mögliche Transferpläne werden.
Doch Sporting Lissabon stellt sich quer. Der Klub will Trincão halten und hat ihm sogar ein neues Vertragsangebot vorgelegt. Ziel: eine Verlängerung im Juli – oder zumindest eine bessere Verhandlungsposition bei einem möglichen Verkauf.
