Rizek elege Fábio, do Fluminense, o goleiro mais  decisivo do Mundial de Clubes: “Não vejo razão para citar idade”

Idade é mero detalhe e não entra na análise. Assim André Rizek avaliou o protagonismo do goleiro Fábio, do Fluminense, que se mostrou fundamental na classificação da equipe carioca às quartas de final do Mundial de Clubes, sobre a Inter de Milão. No entendimento do apresentador do Grupo Globo, nenhum outro arqueiro tem crescido nas decisões como o titular absoluto de Renato Gaúcho.

Jogador mais experiente do torneio organizado pela Fifa, com 44 anos, Fábio fez quatro defesas importantíssimas nos 90 minutos contra a equipe nerazzurri, sendo três delas dentro da área, garantido o terceiro ‘clean sheet’ (terminar jogo sem sofrer gols) em quatro partidas realizadas no torneio organizado pela Fifa. São apenas dois gols sofridos em 360 minutos jogados.

“Não vejo razão pra citar a idade para o que vou falar. Apenas as defesas que ele fez, mesmo. Fábio é até aqui, com sobras, o goleiro mais decisivo da Copa do Mundo“, avaliou Rizek, no post feito no “X”, minutos depois do apito final na Carolina do Norte.

Regularidade de Fábio chama atenção

Personagem importante na campanha sólida executada pela equipe de Renato Gaúcho no Mundial de Clubes, Fábio ostenta uma consistência expressiva. Dos 40 jogos realizados pelo Fluminense na temporada 2025, o arqueiro só ficou de fora de cinco duelos, ficando de fora de alguns jogos no Campeonato Carioca, quando jovens da base foram acionados no início do certame.

A palavra regularidade, na verdade, sempre foi uma das marcas registradas de Fábio, que ao longo da carreira, não acumulou graves lesões que tirasse de campo por muito tempo. Desde quando iniciou a trajetória profissional, em 1998, o goleiro só esteve abaixo dos 27 jogos completados em uma temporada em seis oportunidades. Com os 59 jogos realizados no último ano, ele alcançou a marca de 20 anos consecutivos fechando a temporada com 40 partidas ou mais.

Rizek exalta coletividade do Fluminense

Além de destacar o protagonismo de Fábio, Rizek pontuou sobre a entrega de todos os jogadores do Fluminense, classificando que o time deu provas de que o jogo coletivo, muitas vezes, pode superar adversidades extremas e oponentes de grande qualidade. No entendimento dele, o amante de futebol que não reconhece o feito registrado pelo time das Laranjeiras é ‘invejoso’.
