Handball-Fans haben entschieden: Eisenach-Teenie wirft Tor des Jahres
Das war passiert: In der regulären Saison hatte Dessau im April in Essen 28:27 gewonnen – in den letzten drei Sekunden mit einem Spieler zu viel auf dem Platz. Essen legte Einspruch ein, bekam recht, die Partie wurde neu angesetzt. Bei einer Niederlage wären die eigentlich geretteten Dessauer doch noch abgestiegen. Doch Essen verlor das Wiederholungsspiel am Sonntag mit 24:30. Dessau und Essen bleiben drin, Hamm steigt ab.
Pikant: Vor Anpfiff in Essen hatten sich Dessau und Hamm auf einen gemeinsamen Antrag geeinigt, die Liga von 18 auf 19 Klubs aufzustocken.
Die Entscheidung über eine 19er-Liga soll bei der Ligaversammlung am Mittwoch und Donnerstag in Köln fallen. Doch Liga-Boss-Frank Bohmann (60) sagt deutlich: „Dafür sehe ich keine Grundlage. Es würde zudem ein Präzedenzfall geschaffen, mit der Gefahr, dass sich jedes Jahr aufs Neue die Liga erweitern soll, um einen Absteiger zu vermeiden.“

Was sind nun die Lehren aus dieser XXL-Saison? Bohmann zu SPORT BILD: „Wir werden mit Sicherheit nicht das Recht abschaffen, seine Rechtsposition vor Sportgerichten einzuklagen. Es könnten Einreichungs- und Erwiderungsfristen verkürzt werden, um schneller zu Entscheidungen zu kommen. Eine solche Änderung könnte Ende November beim Bundestag des Deutschen Handballbunds erwirkt werden.“
HBL-Boss Bohmann: Videobeweis in der 2. Liga wieder ein Thema
Auf der Ligaversammlung der 36 Erst- und Zweitligisten diese Woche werde „mit großer Sicherheit“, so Bohmann, über die chaotische Zweitligasaison gesprochen. Denn neben der Partie in Essen gab es noch zwei Begegnungen, bei denen ein Spieler zu viel auf dem Feld stand: „Die Ligaversammlung läuft über zwei Tage. Am ersten Tag wird es Aussprachen zwischen der 1. und der 2. Liga geben, und da wird das Thema natürlich behandelt.“

Geht es nach Bohmann, soll es ein Wiederholungsspiel wie in Essen „möglichst nicht wieder geben. Ich hätte es auch lieber vermieden. Aber gerade, wenn an den letzten Spieltagen Einsprüche geltend gemacht werden, sind nachzuholende Spiele bis zum Ende des Spieljahres möglich. Wir als Hüter der Regeln können gar nicht anders, als nach diesen Regeln vorzugehen.“
Die Fehlerhäufung der vergangenen Saison will die HBL konkret eindämmen. Bohmann: „Wir werden gemeinsam mit den Schiedsrichtern, Zeitnehmern und Sekretären Maßnahmen entwickeln, die das Risiko von Fehlentscheidungen vermindern. Dazu gehört möglicherweise der Einsatz des Video-Beweises auch in der 2. HBL. Die Klubs der 2. HBL haben sich für den Einsatz zur kommenden Saison noch nicht entscheiden können. Die HBL wird sich weiter für den Einsatz starkmachen.“
