O Atlético-MG está de volta ao Brasileirão Feminino Série A1. Com emoção, a equipe ganhou o acesso para a elite da competição ao derrotar nos pênaltis (9 a 8) o Vitória, após perder a partida de volta das quartas de final da Série A2 por 1 a 0, no sábado, no Barradão,
Um jogo no qual as Vingadoras tiveram que fazer todo o possível para garantir que a vaga seguisse em disputa, já que se o time baiano triunfasse por dois ou mais gols, se classificaria. A postura das atletas diante de tal adversidade foi bastante exaltada pela treinadora do Galo, Fabi Guedes, após o jogo em Salvador.
“Objetivo alcançado”
Guedes comemorou o sucesso no objetivo de colocar o Atlético-MG na Série A do Brasileirão Feminino e fez uma exaltação a seu elenco. A treinadora valorizou bastante o trabalho e o envolvimento de suas comandadas na missão de conseguir tanto a vaga na elite como a classificação para as semifinais da competição.
“Objetivo alcançado. Desde que eu cheguei, tenho dito como é fantástico o jeito como essas meninas trabalham, como elas são envolvidas no projeto. Hoje, a gente falou muito sobre confiança, que elas precisavam primeiro confiar no trabalho delas e, depois, no que eu havia pedido para elas”, declarou Guedes segundo o No Ataque.
“Elas têm feito muito bem isso. É mérito muito grande delas. As jogadoras se entregaram, confiaram no propósito e no que eu estava pedindo. Elas nunca desistiram, sempre trabalharam duro. Não tínhamos margem de erro, e nosso objetivo foi alcançado. Estou muito feliz, do jeito Galo de ser, bem sofrido, mas a nossa felicidade é imensa”, completou.
Semifinais
Agora a próxima missão das Vingadoras é tentar a vaga na final do Brasileirão Feminino A2. As próximas adversárias serão o Santos, com as Sereias da Vila tendo obtido o acesso e a classificação ao derrotarem também neste sábado o Ação-MT.
