No próximo dia 12, o Atlético-MG enfrentará o Bahia em sua primeira partida na retomada do futebol brasileiro depois da paralisação para a disputa da Copa do Mundo de Clubes. E, daí em diante, o time terá um mês de julho bastante atarefado em várias frentes.
Ao todo, serão seis jogos durante o mês, em três competições diferentes. Além do Bahia, o Galo terá pela frente Palmeiras e Flamengo pelo Brasileirão, e ainda encara novamente o Rubro-Negro pela partida de ida das oitavas de final da Copa do Brasil. Além disto, terá também pela frente os play-offs da Copa Sul-Americana, onde encara o Atlético Bucaramanga.
‘Sequência sinistra’
Será a volta da rotina de jogos a cada três dias e o meia Gustavo Scarpa falou sobre o que qualificou com ‘sequência sinistra’. O jogador cita o calendário brasileiro, especialmente em um ano em que houve paralisação das competições como ‘maluco’ e afirmou confiar que as estruturas do Atlético-MG irão ajudar a fazer a equipe aguentar a carga de jogos e viagens que terá nas próximas semanas.
“É uma sequência sinistra de jogos, um calendário bem apertado em um ano atípico. Mas é o que temos. Temos que nos prepara e confiar no trabalho do pessoal da fisiologia e da preparação física, que está tentando se ajustar a este calendário maluco”, disse Scarpa segundo o GE.
Semana de treinos
Até a partida contra o Bahia, no entanto, o Galo se dedicará aos treinos e atividades para poder ajustar o time que enfrentará o Tricolor de Aço. No último final de semana, o time fez um jogo treino diante do Betim, vencido por 3 a 0 pelos alvinegros, com dois dos gols marcados pelo meia. Gustavo Scarpa destacou este período como importante para que o time mantenha bem a parte física e também afine suas habilidades para esta série.
“Como estamos em uma pré-temporada, acredito que o mais importante seja a parte física. Mas, quando a gente consegue aliar a parte física com uma boa qualidade técnica, conseguimos aproveitar melhor o treino”, afirmou o meia atleticano.
