Nesta terça-feira (8), o Grêmio derrotou o São José por 2 a 0 em sua arena e garantiu a taça da Recopa Gaúcha 2025. Alysson teve grande destaque com um gol e uma assistência espetacular, enquanto o volante Dodi e o atacante Francis Amuzu foram outros nomes relevantes na partida em Porto Alegre.
Esse foi o quinto título do Tricolor na Recopa (2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 e 2025). O Internacional tem duas conquistas (2016 e 2017), o Pelotas também duas (2014 e 2020) e o São José, São Luiz e Ensaboadela possuem um troféu cada.
Grêmio se impõe e garante vitória
Com um pouco mais de 11 mil presentes no estádio, o Grêmio dominou completamente o primeiro tempo e teve 67% de posse de bola, com oito finalizações. Apesar de ter o controle da partida, o time de Mano Menezes inicialmente esbarrou no sistema defensivo adversário, mas a “porteira abriu” por volta dos 16 minutos, quando Dodi acertou um lindo passe para Alysson balançar as redes.
O Tricolor naturalmente foi criando chances de gols. Aos 23′, Alysson arrancou do meio de campo, fez grande jogada pelo lado direito e cruzou rasteiro para Amuzu chutar de primeira e aumentar a vantagem. Antes do fim da etapa inicial, o tricampeão da América teve a chance de fazer mais um, porém Cristaldo perdeu um pênalti.
O segundo tempo foi aberto em alguns momentos e “morno” em outros. O São José não conseguiu esboçar uma reação, e o Imortal “cozinhou” a vantagem no placar. Mano rodou o elenco e realizou algumas substituições em uma noite em que o time de Porto Alegre fez a lição de casa para acrescentar mais uma taça para sua galeria.

Após levantar o troféu, o Tricolor Gaúcho foca agora no Brasileirão Série A, competição em que tem o vice-líder Cruzeiro como desafiante no próximo domingo (13), às 20h30 (de Brasília), em Belo Horizonte.
Já fora da Copa do Brasil, o Imortal tem também a Copa Sul-Americana no segundo semestre de 2025, com o Alianza Lima, do Peru, sendo o próximo adversário. No Campeonato Brasileiro, a equipe de Porto Alegre está em 11º, com 16 pontos.
