Minas Tênis Clube anuncia jogo com lendas do vôlei masculino; evento terá Giba e outros campeões olímpicos

Um dos times mais tradicionais de vôlei masculino, o Minas Tênis Clube anunciou um jogo festivo chamado de “Encontro de Tricampeões”, onde reunirá dois icônicos times, que marcaram época em quase 90 anos de história. Um deles é a equipe tricampeã brasileira entre 1984 e 1986. A outra, é o time tricampeão da Superliga, entre os anos 1999 e 2002.

O evento também faz parte da comemoração de 90 anos do Minas, data simbólica que é comemorada em 2025. A partida será no dia 23 de julho, às 19h, na Arena UniBH. A partida irá reunir ídolos minas-tenistas, além de lendas do vôlei brasileiro, contando com a presença de quatro campeões olímpicos, entre eles, o astro Giba.

Giba é considerado um dos maiores jogadores da história do vôlei masculino, seja em âmbito nacional, quanto mundial. Com ele, o Brasil nunca ficou fora do pódio em nenhuma competição. Ele atuou no Minas entre 1999 e 2001, além de ter sido vitorioso pela seleção brasileira por quase 20 anos, entre 1995 e 2012. Maurício Lima (ouro em Barcelona 1992 e Atenas 2004), Carlão (ouro em Atenas 1992) e André Heller (ouro em Atenas 2004), também estarão no jogo.
