Brasil x França pela Liga das Nações de Vôlei (Divulgação/FIVB)
Na madrugada desta quinta-feira (10), a seleção feminina de vôlei venceu a França no seu 10° jogo pela primeira fase da Liga das Nações, mas não foi um jogo fácil como muito esperavam. O time comandado por José Roberto Guimarães venceu por 3 a 2, com parciais de 23/25, 25/21, 17/25, 25/21 e 15/11. A central Julia Kudiess foi uma das destaques da nossa seleção, sendo a maior pontuadora, com 17 pontos.
Com o resultado, o time feminino do Brasil engatou a sexta vitória seguida e subiu para a segunda posição na VNL, ultrapassando a Polônia, que ainda tem um jogo a menos. Até agora, a seleção brasileira jogou 10 partidas e venceu 9. Com esse bom início, o time já está garantido nas quartas de final, mas tenta se classificar o melhor possível para pegar um adversário mais fraco na próxima fase, já que os primeiros colocados enfrentam os piores classificados.
Sobre a partida
A seleção feminina de vôlei tinha um amplo favoritismo contra as francesas, que ocupam apenas a 11ª posição e dificilmente vão passar de fase. Porém, o Brasil não começou bem a partida e perdeu o primeiro set. Embora tenha sido apertado (25 a 23), a França chegou a abrir boas vantagens no período, fazendo 7 a 2 e 15 a 8.
No segundo set, a França chegou a ficar novamente na frente em alguns momentos, abrindo 10 a 7, mas rapidamente o Brasil se recuperou, aproveitando alguns erros de ataque das francesas. No fim, venceu com um pouco de folga, fazendo 25 a 21. Já o terceiro set, começou equilibrado, chegando a ficar 13 a 13. Porém, na reta final, as europeias foram superiores e venceram fácil, por 25 a 17.
Então, o quarto set, que era decisivo para o Brasil, foi bastante equilibrado, chegando a ficar 20 a 19 para as brasileiras. Mas, a nossa seleção mostrou força no final e fechou com 25 a 21. No tie-break, o time de José Roberto Guimarães foi bastante superior e sempre esteve à frente no placar, chegando a abrir 6 a 1. No fim, fechou a partida com 15 a 11.
Próximos jogos do Brasil na VNL
A seleção feminina volta a quadra amanhã (11), às 7h20 (de Brasília), diante da Polônia, em confronto direto pelas primeiras posições. Esse é o penúltimo jogo do Brasil na primeira fase da Liga das Nações de Vôlei, fechando no domingo (13) contra o Japão. Depois, as quartas de final irão acontecer entre os dias 23 e 24 de julho.
O time feminino do Brasil ainda busca o título inédito da VNL, competição criada em 2018. A nossa seleção já chegou três vezes na final, em 2019, 2021 e 2022, mas ficou com o vice em todas. Na edição passada, terminou em quarto lugar, perdendo na semifinal e depois na disputa de terceiro lugar. A equipe masculina de vôlei, por sua vez, venceu o torneio em 2021.
