With just days remaining until the start of Cleveland Browns‘ 2025 training camp, quarterback Dillon Gabriel and his fiancee, Zo Caswell, are enjoying some well-earned downtime in Los Angeles. The couple, who have been inseparable since their high school days in Hawaii, are taking time to unwind before Gabriel enters his rookie NFL season.
On July 6, Zo posted a chic “plane glam” selfie to her Instagram stories, revealing she had flown from Oklahoma City to LA. Sporting a sun-kissed look and effortless travel style, she gave fans a glimpse of their trip just 13 days before Gabriel will report to camp.
By July 9, she posted another update-this time in red swimwear with a single caption that said it all: “DND.”
The snapshot made waves among her followers, capturing Zo’s bold summer energy as she relaxed in California. It wasn’t the only vacation moment shared either.
From college romance to NFL-ready, Zo and Dillon enjoy final moments of calm
Just a day earlier, on July 8, Caswell had uploaded a carousel of photos showing her and Gabriel posing in casual streetwear, captioned simply: “Besties in town.” The post offered a rare glimpse into the personal lives of one of college football’s most well-known couples turned NFL duo. One of her stories also included a table filled with snacks and margaritas with the playful note: “Calls for a Monday Marg.”
This isn’t the first time Zo has shared her love for swimsuits and sunny retreats. Back in May, she posted a series of poolside photos from Hawaii with a lighthearted caption that read: “Back homeeee. (PS: I graduated).” A nod to both her roots and a major academic milestone.
The couple’s journey is straight out of a rom-com. Dillon and Zo first met in middle school in Mililani, Hawaii. After drifting apart, they reconnected during their junior year of high school and have been together ever since. Their relationship survived the rigors of college football-through Gabriel’s time at UCF, his transfer to Oklahoma, and finally his senior season at Oregon.
On September 1, 2024, just a day after Gabriel made his Oregon debut, he surprised Zo with a proposal by the riverside in Eugene. He dropped to one knee beneath a leafy tree in a touching moment captured and later shared on Instagram.
Now, with Gabriel’s NFL career just beginning, the couple is preparing for another chapter. Gabriel was selected by the Browns in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft and is expected to compete for a spot in the team’s future plans. The timing of this Los Angeles getaway suggests they’re soaking in these final moments before the grind begins.
