O Grêmio quer contratar um volante nesta janela para compor o elenco e brigar por posição na equipe. Alguns jogadores já foram ventilados no Imortal. Um deles quase se concretizou, Caíque, do Juventude, que, no fim, não assinou contrato por ter sido reprovado nos exames médicos. Agora, outro nome surge ligado ao Tricolor, Jaílson, que já teve passagem pelo clube.
Primeiro volante de origem, Jaílson está livre no mercado. O jogador terminou a temporada europeia no Celta de Vigo, da Espanha, não teve o vínculo renovado e agora está à procura de um novo destino. De olho no jogador, o Grêmio pode fazer uma proposta e se tornar o novo destino do meio-campista.
Interesse do Grêmio ainda em estágio inicial
Quem revelou o interesse do Grêmio em Jaílson foi o jornalista argentino César Luis Merlo, especializado no mercado do futebol. Sem muitos detalhes, o comunicador estrangeiro apenas publicou que a equipe gaúcha está de olho no jogador, que passou pelo clube entre 2016 e 2018.
Grêmio pode ter concorrência nas negociações
Ainda sem apresentar uma proposta oficial pelo jogador, o Grêmio vai especulando, mas deve ganhar concorrentes estrangeiros na possível negociação. De acordo com o Merlo, pelo menos dois clubes mexicanos também estão analisando a possibilidade de contar com Jaílson. Um deles é o Juárez e outro não foi revelado.

Caso Jaílson volte ao Grêmio, os torcedores logo vão lembrar de bons momentos que vivenciaram quando o jogador estava em Porto Alegre. Não diretamente por causa dele, mas enquanto esteve no Tricolor, Jaílson foi campeão da Copa do Brasil de 2016, da Libertadores de 2017, da Recopa Sul-Americana e do Gaúchão de 2018.
Durante a passagem pelo Sul, o jogador não foi titular absoluto durante todo o tempo, mas na partida contra o Real Madrid, na final do Mundial de Clubes de 2017, ele esteve entre os onze que entraram em campo desde o apito inicial.
