Onde assistir a rodada dupla no oval de Iowa Fórmula Indy neste fim de semana (12 e 13/7)

Fórmula Indy tem estrelas como Scott Dixon no carro 9 (James Black/IndyCar)

A FórmulaIndy vem com rodada dupla no GP de Iowa neste sábado (12) e domingo (13). A prova no circuito oval vai passar em dois canais para os torcedores brasileiros.

Na TV fechada, a opção é a ESPN que também terá o sinal no streaming Disney + com a narração de Thiago Alves e comentários de Victor Martins, além do ex-piloto Christian Fittipaldi.

Etapa da Indy também tem espaço na TV Cultura

Quando se fala em TV aberta, a TV Cultura terá um esquema de transmissão. No sábado (12), vai ao ar a primeira corrida com transmissão ao vivo, às 18h, pelo site, e a partir das 22h30, na emissora. E no domingo (13/7), a partir das 14h, será exibida, ao vivo, na TV Cultura e site, a segunda prova do circuito. As duas transmissões têm narração de Geferson Kern e comentários de Dedê Gomez.

Categoria trocou de TV oficial nos EUA

O fato é que a mídia esportiva teve uma mudança importante nos EUA, quando falamos de Fórmula Indy: depois de mais de 40 anos, a NBC perdeu o status de TV oficial da categoria para a Fox Sports, a partir de 2025.

Calendário tem mais quatro ovais até o fim da temporada

Ainda há quatro provas em circuitos ovais curtos até o fim do ano. Além das duas provas em Iowa, as duas últimas corridas do campeonato, em Milwaukee e Nashville, serão disputadas neste tipo de pista. O que acende nos rivais do atual campeão e líder, Alex Palou, a esperança de virar o jogo na briga pelo título. Apesar de ter vencido as 500 Milhas de Indianápolis, em um circuito oval longo, o espanhol jamais conquistou uma vitória e foi apenas uma vez ao pódio num oval curto.

Entre os brasileiros, Iowa foi o palco da 30ª vitória de Hélio Castroneves na Indy e a última pela Penske, sua casa por duas décadas, na prova de 2017.
