Diretor de futebol do São Paulo, Carlos Belmonte tem dividido opiniões sobre o seu cargo na diretoria do Tricolor Paulista. Isso porque, de acordo com notícias recentes, ele teria recebido uma remuneração para aceitar a sua posição.
Tal atitude, assim como explicou o jornalista Alexandre Praetzel, seria irregular. Diante disso, o dirigente do clube, que viveu diversas polêmicas na temporada passada, entrou em contato e esclareceu as declarações, afirmando que não recebeu nenhum valor.

Durante a sua participação no BetBox, da BandSports, o jornalista revelou que Belmonte telefonou para ele e esclareceu alguns detalhes do caso. Segundo o dirigente, não existe nenhuma irregularidade sobre sua presença na direção do São Paulo.
O diretor de futebol do Tricolor negou a informação que havia recebido uma remuneração (ou tenta alguma remuneração) para ocupar o cargo na diretoria. “O Jurídico do São Paulo, em uma normativa aprovada pelo Conselho Deliberativo, tem um documento que prova que ele está no cargo de forma correta”, disse Praetzel.
“Ele não recebe um centavo para ser diretor de futebol do São Paulo na gestão de Julio Casares. Ele, inclusive, está disposto a abrir o Imposto de Renda dele para mostrar que não recebe nada pelo São Paulo”, concluiu o jornalista.
Belmonte não está irregular no cargo
Alexandre Praetzel apontou que o diretor do Jurídico do São Paulo enviará documentos que provem que Carlos Belmonte está de forma correta no cargo, mesmo diante de dúvidas da imprensa e de outros membros da diretoria.
“Eu nunca ataco a pessoa. Eu não tenho nada contra a pessoa Carlos Belmonte, pessoa fora do São Paulo. Eu lendo o estatuto, na minha interpretação, ele estaria irregular [no cargo]. Ele nega”, concluiu o comunicador.
