Borja Sainz é reforço do FC Porto para a nova temporada. Neste domingo, os dragões anunciaram a contratação do extremo, de 24 anos, que assinou por cinco temporadas, até 2030, e chegou proveniente do Norwich, que milita no Championship, o segundo escalão do futebol inglês.
O emblema da Invicta paga 13,3 milhões de euros para contratar o jogador espanhol, sendo que o negócio ainda pode ascender a um total de 15,3 milhões de euros – os restantes 2 milhões estão dependentes do cumprimento de objetivos.
Significa isto que, e tal como se pode constatar na galeria disponibilizada abaixo, Sainz acaba de se tornar no nono reforço mais caro já contratado pelo FC Porto, em igualdade com Nehuén Pérez.
Sainz tinha chegado a Inglaterra para representar o Norwich no verão de 2023 numa transferência livre de encargos, depois de deixar os turcos do Giresunspor. Antes, tinha representado, em Espanha, o Alavés e o Saragoça.
