Na noite deste domingo (13), o técnico Dorival Júnior deu entrevista coletiva após a derrota do Corinthians para o RB Bragantino no Brasileirão. Projetando já o próximo jogo, o treinador confirmou a ausência do artilheiro Yuri Alberto e negou estar pedindo reforços à diretoria.
Dorival Júnior confirma mais um jogo sem Yuri Alberto
Com uma lesão na coluna vertebral desde o dia 24 de maio, Yuri Alberto não está podendo ajudar o Corinthians no momento. Artilheiro do clube no ano com 13 gols, o centroavante não deve retornar contra o Ceará nesta quarta-feira (16).
“Não teremos Yuri [Alberto], não teremos Memphis e não teremos o Romero. Nós temos que encontrar um caminho, temos que trabalhar”, confirmou Dorival Júnior. Assim, é provável que o treinador mude o esquema tático do Corinthians nessa partida para encaixar os jogadores disponíveis.
De qualquer forma, a posição de centroavante do Corinthians contra o Ceará ficará entre Gui Negão e Héctor Hernández, se ambos não jogarem juntos. Inclusive, o espanhol nem foi para a relação de atletas contra o RB Bragantino por opção técnica, segundo Dorival Júnior.
Dorival Júnior rechaça necessidade de contratações
Quando recebeu perguntas sobre contratações, Dorival Júnior agiu de forma cautelosa, mas deixou claro que não quer fazer pedidos à diretoria. Provavelmente porque entende a atual situação financeira que o clube vive.
“Tudo que eu havia conversado com a diretoria do Corinthians, e principalmente com o Fabinho [Soldado], no primeiro dia de contato, nós continuamos respeitando tudo aquilo que conversamos. Não fico a todo momento questionando o porquê de uma coisa ou outra ainda não ter acontecido. O importante é que o trabalho está se desenvolvendo, e nós temos que valorizar os jogadores que estão aqui, tentando encontrar soluções internamente”, explanou Dorival Júnior.
Por fim, Dorival Júnior expressou sua confiança no poder do elenco corintiano de dar a volta por cima nesta temporada. “Eu tenho uma confiança muito grande de que os resultados começarão a acontecer por aquilo que a equipe vem mostrando em campo. Não é suficiente, não tem agradado o torcedor, eu reconheço isso. Agora, na grande maioria dos jogos, eu acho que a equipe poderia ter tido uma sorte maior se não fosse por pequenos detalhes”.
