Anthony Edwardshas found himself at the center of some heavy headlines lately-accusations of emotional detachment, abandonment, the whole nine yards. But if there’s one thing Ayesha Howard is making loud and clear, it’s that no matter what the media says about her, she’s going to show up looking stunning. Like, jaw-dropping, scroll-stopping stunning.
The Minnesota Timberwolves guard recently agreed to give Ayesha full custody-at least for now-of their five-month-old daughter, Aubri’, as the pair continue to battle things out in court. And while the legal back-and-forth unfolds, Ayesha posted a video that’s doing double duty. Not only is she showing she’s got this whole motherhood thing handled, but she’s also showing off a body that looks like it completely skipped the postpartum chapter. Whether it’s a subtle jab or just pure confidence, she’s giving fans a whole moment-and folks are noticing.
Ayesha turns a custody update into pure confidence
In the clip, Ayesha appears totally in control and radiating confidence. Rocking barely-there clothing tailored to perfection, she’s not just parenting-she’s making a statement. It’s hard not to see the visual as a bit of shade thrown Edwards’ way-intentional or not.
According to legal docs obtained by Us Weekly, Edwards voluntarily handed over temporary physical and legal custody of Aubri’ to Howard. The agreement comes as part of a larger legal situation involving paternity and child support. Edwards has now asked the court to formally determine his financial responsibilities, leaving the rest up to the judge.
Howard, who is 38, says she’s been raising Aubri’ solo since giving birth in October 2024. Court filings suggest Edwards hasn’t had any real presence in their daughter’s life so far. So, while this custody deal is labeled “temporary,” Howard sees it as simply reflecting the reality of who’s actually been showing up.
