Depois de negociar a SAF do Cruzeiro, Ronaldo também deverá se desfazer do Valladolid. O clube espanhol anunciou nesta sexta-feira (23) a venda da participação acionária do ex-jogador a um grupo de investidores.

A identidade dos novos donos dos Pucelas não foi revelada totalmente. No texto publicado pelo clube, estes são referidos como um ‘grupo de investimento norte-americano’, que teria o auxílio de um ‘fundo europeu’ para adquirir a fatia majoritária do clube, que pertencia ao Fenômeno.
Outros detalhes da negociação, como valores que deverão ser envolvidos na transação, também não foram anunciados, mas estima-se na imprensa espanhola que os valores seriam em torno de 50 milhões de euros . A venda do Valladolid para os novos investidores ainda deverá passar pelo aval dos órgãos competentes do setor antes de ser aprovada e oficializada.
Gestão criticada
O Valladolid foi a primeira equipe que teve Ronaldo como seu acionista majoritário, com a aquisição de 51% do controle do time espanhol. O período em que o Fenômeno controlou a equipe violeta, no entanto, teve poucos momentos de sucesso e inúmeros problemas, além de protestos da torcida.
Em 2022, o dirigente tentou mudar o escudo do clube, mas devido à revolta dos torcedores pucelas, teve que voltar atrás dois anos depois. As más campanhas do time em LaLiga, especialmente a desta temporada, na qual foi rebaixado com rodadas de antecedência e alvo constante da torcida nas várias derrotas do time durante a disputa da competição.
A queda foi a terceira do Valladolid para a segunda divisão espanhola com Ronaldo na gestão do clube. Já havia, inclusive, desde o ano passado, conversas para a venda da equipe que, à época, acabaram não resultando em negociação efetiva.
