Após a vitória do Flamengo contra o São Paulo por 2 a 0, o técnico rubro-negro Filipe Luís deu declarações bombásticas sobre o atacante Pedro. Em tom ríspido, o comandante revelou forte incômodo com os treinos do jogador. Ainda disse que o camisa 9 ficou em último em todas as valências físicas segundo mapeamento do GPS.

Questionado sobre toda a problemática envolvendo o centroavante durante a semana, que culminou em seu corte dos relacionados, Filipe Luís não poupou os detalhes. “O que aconteceu foi que a atitude do Pedro durante a semana foi lamentável, beirou o ridículo para mim. Não é de agora que ele vinha treinando mal, vem durante um tempo. Só que essa semana ele realmente rompeu com um princípio claro que nós temos como comissão, que é a cultura de treino”.
Em seguida, Filipe Luís se mostrou indignado com o comportamento do atleta, e revelou medo de que ele influenciasse os colegas. “Para mim, o que ele fez foi uma falta de respeito, a atitude dele nos treinamentos. Não duvidei em nenhum momento de deixá-lo fora da lista de relacionados, porque esse tipo de comportamento pode contagiar”.
“Então, espero que ele recapacite, pense, peça desculpa para os companheiros e volte a ser o Pedro. Porque, para mim, não é só uma falta de respeito com os companheiros, mas primeiro com ele mesmo. Com a ambição que ele tem de chegar na Seleção e jogar outra Copa do Mundo, não deveria negociar nem um minuto de treino. Depois, faltou respeito com os torcedores que estão esperando o melhor Pedro, de antes da lesão. E, por último, nem precisaria falar, com o clube, que paga o salário”, finalizou Filipe Luís.
Técnico do Flamengo expõe dados de GPS de Pedro
Além disso, Filipe Luís disse que baseou sua decisão em dados de GPS da semana, que indicam Pedro abaixo de todos os jogadores do elenco em performance. “Tentei protegê-lo durante muito tempo, mas chega uma hora que tem que partir dele, ele tem que querer mais do que eu, eu não posso querer mais do que ele. Temos dados de GPS que dizem que o Pedro é o último em absolutamente tudo durante essa semana”.
Por fim, Filipe Luís opinou que o camisa 9 não está em condições perfeitas de jogo no momento. “O jogador que é último em todas as valências físicas não está pronto para performar. Vocês podem querer colocar a culpa em quem for, no treinador, no modelo de jogo, no Arrascaeta, mas a culpa é dele”.
Durante a partida contra o São Paulo, Pedro não ficou nem no banco de reservas, mas estava no camarote do Maracanã acompanhando o duelo. O Flamengo venceu por 2 a 0 com gols de Luiz Araújo e Wallace Yan, e segue na liderança do Brasileirão.
