Ídolo e um dos principais nomes do elenco do Atlético-MG, Hulk abriu o jogo sobre o desempenho na primeira metade da temporada. Em entrevista antes do duelo contra o Bahia, neste sábado (13), o atacante reconheceu que está abaixo do que esperava individualmente, mas mostrou confiança em uma retomada com a camisa alvinegra.
“É claro que está bem longe do que eu imaginava. Tenho o segundo semestre inteiro para recuperar tudo isso”, afirmou o camisa 7, que soma 11 gols e 3 assistências em 26 partidas em 2025. Apesar de bons números, Hulk está há oito jogos sem marcar e sabe que pode entregar mais.
Incômodo muscular limitou Hulk no início da temporada
O atacante revelou que um desconforto muscular na coxa direita o acompanhou por semanas e afetou diretamente seu rendimento. Agora, livre das dores após a pausa para o Mundial de Clubes, o jogador garante estar 100% para a sequência do calendário.
“Foi bom que, agora, deu para limpar 100%, sem nenhum desconforto. Eu me cuidei para aproveitar o segundo semestre”, explicou Hulk, demonstrando foco total no restante da temporada em busca das melhores posições com o Galo.
Pausa dividida gerou incômodo: “Preferia estar jogando”
Outro ponto abordado pelo camisa 7 foi a divisão das férias durante a temporada. Hulk afirmou que preferia seguir em ritmo de competição, sem a necessidade de pausa no calendário. “Particularmente, eu queria estar jogando. Ter que quebrar as férias é complicado. Mas não podemos relaxar 100%. Estamos em boa forma física e precisamos manter o foco”, pontuou o jogador de 38 anos.
Galo mira topo da tabela e briga por títulos
Atualmente em sétimo lugar no Brasileirão, com 20 pontos, o Atlético encara o Bahia (5º, com 21) em um confronto direto pela zona de classificação à Libertadores. Hulk acredita que o elenco tem potencial para ir além. “O nosso objetivo maior é disputar títulos, estar entre os três, quatro primeiros. Não será fácil, o nível de competitividade é alto, mas temos um grupo forte. Queremos buscar coisas importantes”, garantiu.
