A partida do Internacional contra o Vitória, neste sábado (12), foi a definição do popular “venceu, mas não convenceu”. Com baixa intensidade, pouca criatividade no ataque e ainda contando com defesas importantes de Rochet para evitar gols do adversário, o Colorado venceu com um gol de Bruno Tabata, aos 47 minutos do segundo tempo.
A falta de ritmo foi a explicação dada por Roger Machado para o desempenho ruim. Nos últimos 30 dias, o elenco do Internacional se dividiu entre dias de férias e duas semanas de treinamento. Esta retomada em julho foi comparada pelo treinador ao início do Campeonato Gaúcho.

Antes da vitória deste sábado, o Internacional acumulava seis jogos sem vencer no Brasileirão. A sequência de resultados ruins levou a equipe à zona de rebaixamento. Com os três pontos conquistados, o Colorado deixou o Z-4. Mesmo assim, o desempenho da equipe gerou críticas dos torcedores.
Em entrevista coletiva após o jogo, o treinador explicou como o tempo sem jogor influencia na volta dos jogadores. “30 dias sem jogo tira o ritmo de todos. Hoje eu posso atribuir com segurança a falta de ritmo de jogo. Assim como no início do campeonato regional, os questionamentos também foram com as atuações, ‘por que a gente não estava tendo o mesmo nível das atuações do melhor momento do ano anterior?’, e a gente chegou na final do estadual em um grande nível. Agora é recuperar ritmo que as atuações vão melhorar, sem dúvida”, afirmou.
Roger enxergou pontos positivos na atuação
No geral, Roger explicou que a equipe sofreu defensivamente devido a erros de passe e ao fato de ter se lançado ao ataque em busca do gol. O treinador valorizou a persistência dos jogadores e o apoio da torcida como fatores decisivos para a vitória. Ainda assim, destacou que viu aspectos positivos no desempenho do time.
“Em alguns momentos do jogo, gostei do que eu vi. Das tramas do Carbonero por dentro, da aproximação dele com o Alan (Patrick); da amplitude do Aguirre no terço final do campo; no Victor (Gabriel) revivendo a lateral-esquerda, também se soltando um ‘pouquinho’ no campo. Para a retomada, pelo resultado, foi bom”, disse.
Próximo confronto
O Internacional enfrenta o Bahia na 14ª rodada do Brasileirão, mas, como o Tricolor de Aço disputará os playoffs da Copa Sul-Americana, a partida foi adiada e ainda não tem data definida. Com isso, o próximo compromisso do Inter será contra o Ceará, no dia 20 de julho (domingo), às 11h, no Beira-Rio.
