O Atlético-MG foi derrotado por 2 a 1 pelo Bahia na noite deste sábado (12), na Arena Fonte Nova, pela 13ª rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro. Mesmo com um golaço olímpico de Hulk nos acréscimos, o Galo viu o Tricolor marcar o segundo nos instantes finais e sair com a vitória.
Em entrevista coletiva após a partida, o técnico Cuca analisou o desempenho da equipe e se mostrou frustrado com o resultado. “Saio triste, muito triste com a derrota. Mas vi um time raçudo, que não se entregou em momento algum”, afirmou o treinador.
“Jogo equilibrado”, diz Cuca
Segundo Cuca, a partida foi marcada por equilíbrio desde o primeiro tempo. “O jogo foi bastante igual, alternado, com as duas equipes buscando o ataque. Tivemos o domínio nos primeiros 10 minutos, depois o Bahia cresceu. Foi assim até o intervalo”, avaliou.
O treinador também apontou que a equipe se comportou bem na maior parte do confronto. “Com muito sacrifício e entrega, conseguimos empatar já nos acréscimos. Mas o futebol tem dessas. Levamos o segundo gol num lance em que estávamos bem postados.”
Alterações táticas e tentativa de virada
O treinador explicou as substituições no segundo tempo, feitas para tentar furar a retranca do Bahia. “Eles fizeram uma linha de cinco atrás, ficou difícil de entrar. Buscamos encontrar espaços entre essas linhas e lançamos jogadores de velocidade.”
Cuca destacou a entrada de Bernard, a improvisação de Rubens na zaga e a ofensividade com Hulk, Júnior Santos e Cuello na frente. “Tiramos o Alonso e arriscamos tudo. Jogamos no mano a mano, conseguimos empatar, mas infelizmente sofremos o gol no fim.”
Gol no fim frustra reação alvinegra
O técnico ainda comentou o lance decisivo da partida. “A bola entrou ali na cabeça da área, o jogador dominou de costas, girou e fez o gol. Foi no apagar das luzes. Estávamos em superioridade numérica, mas o detalhe fez a diferença.”
Próximos passos do Galo
Com a derrota, o Atlético permanece fora do G-6 e vê o Bahia abrir vantagem na briga direta por uma vaga na próxima Libertadores. O próximo compromisso do Galo será diante da sua torcida, quando receberá o Sport no meio de semana, buscando a reabilitação.
