Uma estreia no Atlético-MG neste ano marcou também a derrota do sábado (12) para o Bahia, pelo Brasileirão. O atacante Isaac fez seu primeiro jogo pelo clube desde a volta ao plantel depois de passagem pelo futebol português, entrando durante a segunda etapa do duelo na Fonte Nova.
Após a partida, o jovem atacante falou em suas redes sociais sobre o jogo e sua participação no último sábado com a camisa do Galo. O atleta lamentou não ter conseguido ajudar seu time a obter a vitória diante do Tricolor de Aço, mas espera que o time consiga buscar nas próximas partidas os resultados desejados.
“Sei que não foi o resultado que a gente queria. Lutamos a todo momento para sair com a vitória. Porém, agradeço a Deus, e me sinto muito feliz neste jogo de volta. Vamos sempre seguir em frente em busca dos objetivos”, disse Isaac.

Joia da base do Atlético-MG, o atacante esteve emprestado ao Nacional-POR na última temporada e retornou ao time mineiro nos últimos dias, após o fim da cessão. O desejo dos dirigentes era de que o atleta pudesse ser observado de perto por Cuca e sua comissão técnica neste segundo semestre antes de definir o seu futuro.
Havia muita expectativa para saber se o atleta iria ser usado no retorno dos jogos do Brasileirão. Contra o Betim, no jogo-treino feito para preparar o time após a volta aos treinos, o jogador teve participação e, com isto, a avaliação o fez ser chamado para estar entre os relacionados na partida contra o Bahia, no último final de semana.
Desempenho em campo
Isaac entrou durante o segundo tempo na tentativa de Cuca fazer com que o Atlético-MG conseguisse reagir na partida, que estava com 1 a 0. A presença do atleta, segundo dados de sites como o Sofascore, foi um tanto discreta, e sem grandes movimentações ofensivas por parte deste. Na coletiva pós-jogo, o treinador do Galo fez uma avaliação da presença do jogador em campo.
“A ideia hoje foi o Isaac dentro do que a gente imaginava a partida. Ficamos com ele e o Hulk e o Isaac dá um ‘passinho’ atrás em relação ao João Marcelo. Então, a opção foi por isso. Mas os dois tem um futuro que pode ser brilhante. Hoje (sábado) foi o Isaac. Na próxima, pode ser a do João Marcelo ou a dos dois juntos”, comentou.
